An advertisement is not a specification
A banner beside a design tool reaches someone after they have decided. Being listed in a catalogue means being consulted, which is a different and much later moment than being chosen.
BUILDABLE FOR SUPPLIERS · MANUFACTURERS & SYSTEM OWNERS
By the time an enquiry reaches you, someone has already decided what their building is. A codified kit puts your system inside the design itself, so the configuration that arrives is one you can actually make.
Kits are free for everyone to design with. We are looking for a small number of founding partners; nothing on this page is being charged today. What exists so far.
THE PROBLEM WITH INBOUND
A customer draws something, tells a partner about it, shows a neighbour and forms an expectation of what their building is. Only then do they contact you. Everything after that point is you paying to convert someone else's idea into your system, declining the job, or winning it and drawing it again.
A banner beside a design tool reaches someone after they have decided. Being listed in a catalogue means being consulted, which is a different and much later moment than being chosen.
Publishing DWGs and BIM objects helps a designer who already picked you. It does not stop a design being drawn outside what you manufacture, and it does not tell you when that happens.
An ordinary enquiry costs an hour of triage and often ends in "we cannot build that." The cost is the same whether or not the project was ever buildable in your system.
WHAT WE ASK FOR
Not a file to download. A versioned definition of what you make, precise enough that a design generated from it is a design you can build. Codifying it is work we do with you, and your engineer signs off the result.
Supported spans, heights, module steps and roof forms, and the combinations you actually manufacture. Including the boundaries: outside them the design fails and says so, rather than producing something your factory will refuse.
Members, panels, blocks or components with identity, dimensions, material specification and how they go together.
Which parts meet which, at what spacing, with what connection, and what an opening does to the parts around it. This is what makes generation deterministic rather than decorative.
Product identity, document versions, grades and the source of each property, with a clear agreement on what we may use and display. A public manual is not a licence, and we do not assume one.
Where you deliver, how long you need, and either a price basis or a route to a quote. Prices carry a quote date and an expiry, and expire visibly rather than quietly ageing.
Someone at your company who accepts or declines responsibility for what the kit produces, within a scope you state. Without that, a kit is a reference rather than a product.
WHAT YOU GET
The design is not drawn beside your system, it is made out of it. Your parameters decide what is possible, at the moment the customer is still deciding what they want. That is the earliest point at which a manufacturer can be chosen.
A configuration that reaches you came out of your own definition, so it is inside what you make by construction. The request carries the exact revision, the quantities and the change history, which is the hour of triage you would otherwise pay for.
Which configurations people try, where designs hit the edge of your system, which options get abandoned, and where the demand is. Aggregated, never identifying an individual project or designer, and it comes from the free side of the arrangement.
Your kit is available to anyone designing in the regions you serve, including markets where you have no representation. You decide where you deliver; the kit does not offer what you cannot supply.
THE PROPOSED TERMS
Charging designers to build with your system would strangle the thing that makes it valuable to you. You are not selling a file, you are selling a building. So the kit is free for every prosumer, expert and studio, and our revenue is attached to the order it produces.
PROPOSED, 9 SEPTEMBER 2026
Earned on an order you confirm, or as a fixed fee per accepted quote if you would rather not disclose order value. It applies to your own supplied scope, never to the whole build. Getting the kit codified is a one-off engagement quoted per system, in the range of €10,000–€30,000, invoiced as the service work it is rather than hidden in a subscription. A maintenance fee applies only if your system actually changes.
Promoted placement may exist later. It will always be disclosed, and it will never affect a check result or a review outcome.
NOT YET LIVE
These are proposed founding-partner terms, published so you can judge them before talking to us. No supplier agreement exists yet, no payment mechanism is switched on, and the first partners will help decide the final shape.
A referral is earned when an offer against a platform request is accepted, and only then. Not on a click, not on an introduction, and not on a design that merely resembles your system. The request, the offer, the acceptance and the revision they point at are the record, and you can see all four.
WHAT WE COMMIT TO
These are constraints on us, and they are the reason that should be a reasonable thing to do.
WHERE THIS ACTUALLY IS
Buildable generates concept designs from a versioned kit, with deterministic geometry, quantities, concept exports and revision-bound review. It does not produce production CAD, engineered joints or a permit package, and no supplier agreement exists yet.
The nearest work is deepening one manufacturer's kit until a responsible designer accepts its quantities and drawings. That is what a founding partner would be helping us do, and it is why we want a small number of them rather than a directory.
FOUNDING PARTNERS
We want to hear the system, where you deliver, who owns its engineering and who owns your customer relationship today. If your product needs to sit inside someone else's system rather than being one, say so; that is a different and equally useful conversation.
