Buildable vs Revit
Explore an idea, then choose the right tools for detailed delivery.
Concept iteration and coordinated BIM
Buildable currently offers a template-led kit-house frame, browser inspection, immutable local revisions and concept exports. Revit is a building information modeling platform for building design, documentation, drawings and schedules.
| Need | Buildable today | Revit |
|---|---|---|
| Early design exploration | Browser-based kit-house template | Building modeling environment |
| Coordinated BIM documentation | Not yet implemented | Models, drawings and schedules |
| Review | Local revision-bound notes | Multidisciplinary project workflows |
Where Buildable is heading
We are developing a path from a clear brief through traceable design changes to an expert-reviewed package. Model appearance alone does not prove engineering quality. Exact exports, complete drawings and validated systems remain delivery gates.
Is a Buildable concept construction-ready?
No. Current concepts require further design, engineering and review. Revit also provides software tools rather than replacing the responsibility of the project’s qualified professionals.
