Buildable vs Archicad

A guided concept before the building information model, not instead of it.

Concept iteration and coordinated BIM

Buildable offers a template-led kit-house frame, browser inspection, immutable revisions, scoped review and concept exports including IFC4. Archicad is a building information modelling platform for architects, designers and engineers, with parametric building elements, automated documentation, real-time team collaboration through BIMcloud and openBIM interoperability through IFC, BCF and IDS.

Where Buildable is heading

We are building a path from a clear brief through traceable design changes to an expert-reviewed package, and our IFC4 export is meant to hand a concept into a BIM tool such as Archicad. Model appearance alone does not prove engineering quality; complete drawings and validated systems remain delivery gates.

Is a Buildable concept construction-ready?

No. Current concepts require further design, engineering and review, which is the stage where a BIM platform and qualified professionals take over.
