buildBuildable vs SketchUp

Different ways to begin
Buildable begins with a brief and a configurable kit-house frame: describe what you want, inspect the concept in your browser, adjust dimensions, leave revision-bound notes and export concept files. SketchUp is general-purpose 3D modelling software used for architecture, interiors, set design, product design and manufacturing, available on desktop, on the web and on iPad, with its own .skp file format and a free web edition.

Where each one belongs
If you want to draw freely, SketchUp gives you room. If you want a bounded concept with a record of every change and a route to a named reviewer, Buildable is the narrower, more guided path. Many people will use both: sketch an idea, then bring it to a defined kit workflow.
Can Buildable replace SketchUp?
Not for open modelling. Buildable generates only supported kit geometry from typed proposals; it does not offer a general 3D editor. Buildable has not demonstrated feature parity with SketchUp.
